Piedmont Westley, Jr. is a serial sniper and budding serial killer appearing in the Rizzoli & Isles episode Bite Out of Crime.

History[]

Westley, Jr., had a rich father constantly bailing out his arrests, ranging from plagiarism to arson. Hi father tried to steer him straight with a last chance job at the firm of Jeremy Frintz, but Westley, Jr., was quickly fired. Westley, Jr., was captain of his prep school rifle club, so he decided to apply his marksmanship skills. Out of a bruised ego, he planned to kill Frintz and shoot numerous other civilians to disguise his motives.

Westley, Jr.'s, only successful confirmed killing is of Ned Drake, who was shot dead during a road rage verbal altercation. When Westley, Jr. shot Frintz, he lived and made it to the hospital. In the process of constructing his third nest, he found out a mentally ill homeless man, Michael Lyons, was a witness and being treated at the same hospital. He tracked Lyons there, and Lyons recognized him and started to scream, Maura Isles followed Westley, Jr., through the hospital and was briefly caught in a chokehold when Westley, Jr., blitzed her. She stabbed his leg with a scalpel and got away, and when Westley, Jr., tried to escape, he was body-slammed and arrested by Jane Rizzoli.

While detained, the team discussed how they found out his motives, and Westley, Jr., was incarcerated shortly after for murder.
