After taking a bullet in the Season Finale during a siege of the precinct, Jane Rizzoli is honored as a hero at a public event. The celebration is short-lived, however, when disaster strikes. The ensuing case reunites Jane with an old high-school flame, Sgt. Major Casey Jones, who may be just the person she needs to heal her emotional scars.

Things get a bit more complicated when two couples claim the parenthood of the child. Meanwhile, Angela is driving Jane crazy trying to redecorate her apartment and holding a yard sale there.

It's Fleet Week in Boston and Jane and Maura have a vicious serial rapist on their hands. All of the evidence points to a sailor as the culprit but with thousands of sailors in town, they have their work cut out for them.
